CARROLLTON (KDAF) — The LIV Golf Team Championship starts today at the Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, and we sat down with Chief Marketing Officer Adam Harter to talk about what makes the Dallas event different.
"LIV Golf is the first global golf league," Harter said. "What Dallas signifies for us is an exciting end to our season, which means our team championship is happening. We will crown the new champion of the 2024 season, so we're very excited for that. It's what makes LIV Golf so unique."
Harter said the way the course is set up is "a player's dream," and the experience is like "music festival meets world class golf." Instead of the typical golf setting, which is usually quiet and reserved, LIV Golf features music, fun activities, and food and cocktails that make for a festival-like atmosphere.
